The Glenn Heights Fire Department is lead by Fire Chief Chris Shook and is staffed by 8 Full Time Firefighters, 8 Part Time Firefighters and currently 6 Volunteer Firefighters. |

Chief Shook was hired by City of Glenn Heights as the Assistant Chief over the Fire Department under the Director of Public Safety in July of 2001 and promoted to Fire Chief in January of 2003 when the City Manager dissolved the position of Director of Public Safety and placed the Fire & Police Department under separate Directors. Prior to coming to Glenn Heights he was at Hutchins Fire Rescue for 17 Years. Starting as a Volunteer Firefighter there in 1984. He held the positions of Volunteer Firefighter, Driver and Lieutenant, Paid Firefighter, Driver, Captain, Training Officer, Inspector and Fire Marshal during his time at Hutchins. Chief Shook is Married to wife Pricilla and they have 3 Children. |

Lieutenant Moore started out as a volunteer firefighter in his hometown of Combine in 1988. He became an EMT in 1992 and started the Fire Academy in 1993. He became a career firefighter in 1995 and obtained his Paramedic Certification in 1998. He currently holds a certification as a Advanced Firefighter. He is still a member of the Combine Fire Department as a volunteer were he holds the rank of Assistant Chief. Lieutenant Moore also works for Ovilla Fire Department and Red Oak Fire Rescue as a Part Time Firefighter/Paramedic. On his days off he enjoys Hunting. Lieutenant Moore is married to wife Sonya and they have 2 Children. |

Driver Garza began his career as a volunteer in Milford in 1999. He obtained his EMT and Firefighter Certification in 2005. He was hired by Glenn Heights Fire Department in November 2006. He is still a member of the Milford Fire Department as a volunteer. On his days off he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as hunting and fishing. Carlos is married to wife Robin and they have 2 Children. |

Firefighter Cates began his career in EMS in 2000 as an EMT. After obtaining his Paramedic in 2001, he began working for a private ambulance company. In 2004 he received his Firefighter certification. In 2005 he was hired by Glenn Heights Fire Department. Jason is also a volunteer for Chatfield Volunteer Fire Department. On his days off he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and riding his four-wheeler. Jason is married to wife Paula and they have 2 Children. |
